RESTORE and RENEW
As one of the oldest structures in the Falmouth Village Historic District, the circa 1730 Conant House is a keystone of the Falmouth Museums on the Green.
The building has not been renovated for over 50 years and is in dire need of work–from the roof to the foundation. Today it houses an exhibit area, offices and a research center–all critical functions for our mission.
The project will preserve for future generations an important example of 18th century architecture at the historic center of Falmouth, around the Village Green. Our goal is to Restore and Renew Conant House, creating an interior that is fully functional in the 21st century, enhancing our ability to fulfill our mission.
