School Vacation Week– Thursday April 24th at 11am– 55 Palmer Avenue
Free and Open to the public thanks to the Ellis Family.
Join us for a fun-filled spring celebration, featuring history, creativity, and a classic seasonal tradition—with a twist!
Children will take a short guided tour of the historic c. 1790 Dr. Francis Wicks House, learning about how rooms were decorated in the past and what they reveal about the people who lived in them. Afterward, kids can get creative by designing their own room on paper, using paper antiques to bring their space to life.
To wrap up the festivities, we’re keeping the good times rolling—literally—with a special post-Easter Egg Hunt in the Museum Yard! Each child will receive two wooden eggs to find and take home, and we encourage families to decorate or paint them together.
Come celebrate the season with history, hands-on fun, and a little bit of hopping around! Recommended for children ages 4-9.
Free, Donations are welcome. Limited Capacity, please pre-register children (adults do not need to register).
In Memory of Robert Conant Ellis (1931-2023) & Susan Yeager Tow (1936-2019), Grandson and Granddaughter of William & Margaret Conant.
