A discussion of the history of the Whydah galley, from slave vessel to pirate ship and the sinking of the Whydah off the coast of Cape Cod in 1717. Learn about the Golden Age of Piracy as it relates to the Cape. Ms. Zahn will include archaeology and artifacts from the shipwreck and an inside look into the conservation of underwater artifacts.
