Summer Concert with Cape Cod String Quartet – Fourth Annual “A Night At The Movies” concert

Falmouth Historical Society and Cape Cod Music Society proudly present the Fourth Annual “A Night At The Movies” concert on Friday, August 7th, 2026 at 5-7:30pm at the Falmouth Historical Society – Museums on the Green.
This exciting outdoor summer concert is inspired by the spirit of “Pops in the Park” and will feature an unforgettable evening of music from film, television, Broadway, and popular classics performed by the Cape Cod String Quartet – Dan Flonta, Jeff Pearson, Sofia Nikas, Nancy Torrente, and special guests – Emma Fahle, Anna McEntee, Zack Johnson, Bart Weisman, Andy Troyanos, Eric Williams, Jonathan Weir and James Peterson.
Set in the beautiful and historic Museums on the Green campus, audiences can expect a relaxed summer atmosphere filled with movie favorites, beloved melodies, exciting crossover performances, and live entertainment under the Cape Cod sky. The song selections echo Falmouth maritime history from the shark filled waters of Jaws filmed just across Vineyard Sound on Martha’s Vineyard, to the age of pirates, privateers, and whaling captains that once sailed from Falmouth Harbor, to the soaring anthem “Con Te Partirò” reflecting the voyages, departures, and immigrant journeys that shaped this maritime community. This concert will be an unforgettable evening where music meets the history and spirit of Falmouth.
A complimentary reception with drinks and snacks will be offered during intermission.
Rain Date: Friday, September 4th, 2026
This annual concert continues our mission of bringing high-quality live music performances to the Cape Cod community while supporting arts education and young musicians throughout the region.
We look forward to sharing this memorable summer evening of music and community with you!
Tickets: $45 Museums on the Green members, $55 non-member. Please register in advance, limited availability.
